Gratitude

Gratitude is wealth. Complaint is poverty. Gratitude should be a continuous attitude and not an occasional incident. If you cannot think of anything you are thankful for, then stop what you are doing for a second and take a deep breath. Congratulations! Now you have a reason to give thanks.

Cultivate Creativity

 creative

1. Initiation: empower them with the knowledge to think creatively
2.  Internalisation: keep doing till it becomes second nature
3. Intensification: solution finders not just solve the problems but also try to ensure that the same problems don’t happen again
4. Imagination: question the status quo, challenge the obvious, ask why not. Engage in ‘bisociation’, the process of trying to relate things or situations that were previously unrelated
5. Innovation:the imaginative thought must be translated into a workable idea
6. Implementation: the idea must be checked for viability and feasibility and then finetune to become the final product

Thinking out of the box

critical1.jpg  A thought that challenges the status quo, finds common ground while honoring differences, and develops the confidence it takes to live one’s own life. This demands that we know and accept ourselves, jettisoning societal norms that don’t allow for our experiences. Rather than allowing ourselves and others to be put into boxes meant to categorize and dismiss, we can use the complexity of our being to challenge the belief that any person or group is more righteous, more correct, more deserving of life than another.
