Have you heard of the following terms for describing different kinds of fear?

achluophobia: fear of darkness

agliophobia: fear of pain

claustrophobia: fear of confined space

enocholphobia: fear of crowds

necrophobia: fear of death or dead things

A friend has told me  that fear is a false  experience  appearing  real. Hope this helps.
